Loyalty really wanted me to draw him tying his hair back for some reason…
…which got me thinking: I guess elastic hairties work in the fantasy TTRPG universe now…
My lil’ boy has all grown up! This is Khoury, an elven druid/cleric with ADHD I play in DnD.
After a wild-shape incident, he was left with permanent fennec fox ears. As a result, he calls his ADHD his ‘fox brain’. He had been taking a break from the main party to help a beleaguered city and surprised the party by becoming taller!
My partner asked for a little update on DM for a PNGTuber setup… and of course, I had to sneak myself in there too.
DM is a shapeshifter, but is usually seen in this form with gold scale freckles. Is this form alluding to something? Maybe…
WIP: Being the wards of the boroughs of Cardiff is tiring work.

Here’s the second of my Elemental portrait/study series - my gentle moose boy Journey, affectionately nicknamed Jo-Jo.
I was never completely happy with the rendering style of the ‘Antlers’ painting back in February, so I’ve been doing some painting studies over the past month. However, I’d thought I’d use them to make an elemental series of them based on my three boys.
Here’s Loyalty representing 'Fire’.
I love Chai from Hi-fi Rush - he’s just an absolute goober, so I wanted to see how he’d work in my illustration style. I think he ended up rather well!
Say hello to Domino! She’s my little divine soul sorcerer based on a leopard gecko blessed by a god of art and literature, hence the rainbow polka dots as scales. Unfortunately, as with all creativity, getting the right message across with your work isn’t always a crystal clear process, especially if your muse forgets things in their old age!
I don’t often get to do light, pastel and girly so this was a fun step out of my comfort zone. ‘Nowt wrong with rainbow pastels!
Final colours for my boys!
Interesting painting this, as it went through areally muddy stage for a bit - it’s been nice painting something so wholesome though.
“Hey…uh…don’t worry about the antler thing. They’ll work themselves out.”
Wanted
to draw some Loyalty and Journey fluff after finishing their collective
model sheets. They have a very dorky relationship dynamic I’ve never
really shown so far in my drawings. I may or may not colour this,
depending on how ambitious I’m feeling!
I’m very fond of how
Journey’s design has been evolving over the last few years, but he’s
never really had a solidified costume design in all that time.
Jo-Jo
has always had that connection with nature (he’s not a druid by the by)
so I’m really happy that he has that special wrap-around with the
flower detail. The fact he wears it interchangably with the trousers
says a lot about how chill he is.
Really liking how this rough costume design sketch for Journey is turning out - just because you have a wider frame doesn’t mean you can’t wear pretty things!
I’ve slowly been
redesigning and setting up model sheets for my OCs, starting with
Loyalty. Here’s the breakdown for his new outfit, moving away from a red
coat into something that unintentionally ended up a little more
matador-esque?
